What Is Hatha Yoga?

Hatha Yoga describes typical, Western yoga classes. These classes will work on all areas of the body and the sequence of poses will be different each time – giving you an extra challenge. This is a fairly slow class – most of the poses are held for 1 minute. It is a great class to start with if you are a beginner.

This class is not only great to stretch and strengthen your body but is also a relaxation for the mind. The simple poses and slow nature allows you to relax into the poses. Furthermore, the classes features a breathing exercises or meditation exercise and final relaxation at the end to allow you some well need time to relax and unwind.
